The Heritage house was originally built in the late 1800’s. It was acquired by the Historical Society in 1997, and after restoration it was turned into a visitor's center and museum that features a gazebo and garden. The museum contains an intriguing collection of period clothing, photographs, and household items. The Heritage House Museum is open to the public on Saturday from 12 to 3 pm and Sunday's from 1 to 4 pm. The Society acquired the home in June of 1997 and has done major restoration work to make it a mini museum and visitor center, A gazebo and period garden is being used for social events and weddings. The restoration work was done by volunteers from the society, community, and local businesses.
