Its very casual atmosphere, basic menu and down-to-earth approach to food make Zookers Restaurant popular among locals. The owners man the kitchen here, turning out family-style cuisine. The salads are big and fresh, featuring such locally farm-grown produce as avocados, spinach and organic lettuces. Sandwiches are amply stuffed, and guests especially like the crunch of the chicken curry salad filling and the generous serving of meat in the roast beef and provolone combo.
