Bidwell Mansion State Park 11 6 2010

Beautiful Bidwell Mansion, located in Chico, CA was the home of Chico’s founder, John Bidwell and his wife, Annie. The Bidwells entertained many historical figures in their Italian-style home located adjacent to California State University Chico. Guided tours of the restored three-story Victorian mansion are available Tuesday through Sunday.

Sierra Nevada Brewery 11 6 2010

Visitors are always welcome at Sierra Nevada Brewery, in Chico, California. The Brewery is open to the public for self-guided tours and shopping at the gift store from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. You can see the brewing process for yourself, then try the award-winning ales and lagers in the Taproom and Restaurant (closed Mondays). Guided tours are complimentary and available daily. Tours are appropriate for all ages and no reservations are necessary.

National Yo Yo Museum 11 6 2010

Chico is home to the largest public display of old and antique Yo-Yos in the country, featuring yo-yo memorabilia from the 1920's to the current day. The world’s largest wood yo-yo can also be found here. The museum hosts the National Yo-Yo Contest annually here in downtown Chico, CA on the first Saturday of every October. 320 Broadway. Chico Honey Run Covered Bridge 11 6 2010

This is one of the few remaining covered bridges left in California and the only tri-span bridge in the United States. Honey Run Covered Bridge is located in beautiful Butte Creek Canyon just outside of Chico, California.
