Rollins Lake, with a surface area of 900 acres, and 26 miles of shoreline is located just a short distance from downtown. The lake is a great recreation area for sailing, water skiing, and trout fishing from boat or shore. Four campgrounds are available, and there are several inns and rental cabins scattered around the area. Lake access is available from Hwy 174 or Rollins Lake Road.

Basement Wines started out by buying and storing wine for friends and family from the basement of our house in Santa Clara. In 2001 it grew into an online business with a small warehouse a mile from the house. In 2003 we moved it to Colfax and became a wine bar and wine shop. In 2007 we added food and we're open 7 days a week. So what does 2008 hold? Stay tuned. The wine shop is open everyday at 11:00 AM, with happy hour Weekdays from 4-5 PM.
