Whether you're a train enthusiast or not, make tracks to Train Town and spend a day in the heart of Sonoma wine country riding on "grand" scale trains. This is a 1-1/4 mile scale railroad adventure with narrow gauge train replicas of those back in the good ol’ days. Sonoma Train Town is the most well-developed scale railroad in the Americas! Located one mile south of Sonoma on Highway 12.

Quarryhill Botanical Gardens 11 6 2010

Quarryhill welcomes visitors year round to enjoy their Asian woodland. Founded in 1987 on 40 acres of rolling hills above Glen Ellen, the site has grown to become a world-renowned botanical institution. Although the garden is most colorful in the spring months you will find plenty to see during all seasons. The garden hosts a rich diversity of Asian Flora in an effort to fully represent the endangered habitats of eastern Asia.

Sonoma State Park 11 6 2010

Located on the square in downtown is Sonoma State Historic Park. The centerpiece of the park is the northernmost Franciscan Mission. But, the park is a scattering of six historical attractions in different locations. They include: Mission San Francisco Solano, the Blue Wing Inn, Sonoma Barracks, the Toscano Hotel, the Servants Quarters, and General Vallejo's Home, which is located about a mile outside of town.

Infineon Raceway 11 6 2010

Infineon Raceway celebrates its 40th year of racing during the 2008 Racing Season, as the Sonoma Valley facility once again hosts the most diverse racing schedule in the country. The raceway will host seven major events in 2008, including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, AMA Superbike Series, the NHRA Drag Racing Series, and the IndyCar Series. It's a year round motorsports complex with events scheduled 340 days and 50 weekends a year. More than half a million fans attend races each year.

Jack London State Park 11 6 2010

Jack London State Historic Park is a memorial to writer and adventurer Jack London, who made his home at the site from 1905 until his death in 1916. The park contains the cottage residence where he wrote books, short stories, articles and letters while he oversaw various agricultural enterprises. A 3/4 mile walk takes visitors to a dam, lake, and bathhouse built by London. Other hikes lead up through fir and oak woodlands to views of the Valley of the Moon.
